WORLD CUP 2014 BRACKET CHALLENGE

Today the draw for each group for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil was announced.

College basketball has March Madness and I've always been jealous of how all of the fun that they have filling out their brackets so I decided to make the World Cup 2014 Bracket Challenge! I'll decide later how the competition will be scored and what the winner will receive. For now you can begin to figure out what your bracket will be now since there is so much excitement about the draw right now.

The obvious group of death is Group G and makes it almost impossible for my United States to advance past the group stages. England are also in a tough group with Italy and Uruguay...and Costa Rica. Group B has last World Cup's finalists in it, Spain and the Netherlands. This world cup will definitely be skewed by weak groups like C, E and F.

My favorites are Brazil. It was Spain until I saw how fantastic Brazil was in the Confederation's Cup this summer.
